It's been quite busy for me lately, so sorry for the late update! D: I have been working on the textures for the 'Nite on Town' Model I last did. It's been quite a challenge because this model is really pushing me to do my best in texturing and presentation, which I honestly love because I am growing as a 3D Artist. I'm learning lots of things I didn't know before! :)
Besides that model, I have also been working on a commission 3D Character Model for a friend of mine based off her comic series. That has been going great! I haven't done a character model in a while but I have noticed I have become a lot faster at it then before! I thoroughly enjoy 3D modeling a concept artists piece of work, be it props, characters or a whole scene ( I love scenes and props! <3 ). I'll post more about it after I'm done!
Lastly, I have entered my Nightmare Before Christmas, Mayors Hearse Model in the 'Humster 3D Vehicle Competition'. A lot of real life car models have been entered but they also accepted make believe ones as well. So please go vote for me!

Thank you everyone! <3

Night On Town 3D Model
Hi everyone!
Here is my newest model that I created on Autodesk Maya. This is the Ambient Occlusion Render of Nicole Gustaffson's Night On Town Gouache Painting. I have been a fan of her work for a while now since one of my friends introduced me to her work on Instagram. (Thank you Angela Song!) When I first saw this painting I instantly wanted to 3D Model it. It seemed different from your general concepts that would be used to make 3D rendition of. Nicole was kind enough to let me use this in my portfolio (with credit to her work of course) and also re-posted this 3D Model of her art, along with my information, on her websites. She even follows me on Instagram now! :D Thank you so much!
At the moment, I am in the middle of the UVing process and soon I will be texturing this! Now, I hope to do her justice and get the look to match her artwork.

Oil Barrel Model
Class has been keeping me busy, but it's definitely worth it! I am learning a ton from Professor Brett Briley. I think I have almost grasped the concept and techniques of 3D Max.
One of my assignments for this class was to model a High Poly and Low poly version of an Oil Barrel, which then had to have textures on it. I will also be making a nice Model Sheet for all of the Models done in class afterwards, but here's a quick look!

Happy Valentines!
Happy Valentines Day, everyone!
Here's a 3D model I am working on. It's still in progress and I honestly don't know when I'll have time to continue and make it look pretty.
I've been busy since my 3D class started at The Art Department. Trying to learn 3D Studio Max for class and at the same time modeling my first assignment that is due soon! I really have a lot of hopes for this class, because I am anxious to learn and grow a lot as a modeler! The professor sounds tough, but awesome at the same time because I understand he's only being critical in order to have us improve. ^^ Working in 3D Max has proved to be a bit of a challenge since I'm trying to learn the program at the same time, but it only reminds me of how I first started out with Maya. So I plan on improving as much and as fast as I can. :3 Wish me luck!
Anyways, I hope everyone has had/continuing to have a wonderful Valentines day! <3 Happy Valentines once again!

Late Update!
Random doodle while I was sick |
One cool news, I had entered a 3D Modeling Contest by The Art Department and DeviantArt called The Train Your Brain Challenge. I decided to enter my Art Nouveau Building Model, low and behold I was one of the 20 contestants that won 3rd place! I won a free online class of my choice at The Art Department! I will be taking their 3D I class focused on specifically hard surface, organic, and prop/environment modeling. As a mainly self taught 3D Artist, I am hoping to gain a lot of knowledge with this class. Thank you DeviantArt and The Art Department!
Anyways, I have also been posting my work on Instagram for a while now, my username: juliesart.
Finally, I have been going back and drawing a lot more, which I really should be doing more often anyways. I have a few idea's for some new models, so hopefully I'll chuck those out soon. :3
